In accordance with AMA rules, Stoney Lonesome abides by the Competition Bulletin issued regarding the restriction on helmet modifications.

For 2023, AMA has added a requirement that all racers in youth classes (peewee through supermini) must wear a chest and back protector during competition. In the AMA rulebook, this can be found on page numbered 79 (page 81 of the pdf).
